So it's already been a week since I've been home from a 4 week trip to Europe & Iceland.
Wow! It was such an amazing trip with so many amazing experiences. I've never been to so many, so different countries in such a short time. I guess the one thing that I drew from the trip was how different everything was between countries that share common borders. It's a foreign concept here in Australia where travelling 3000+km doesn't really change the culture, cuisine, language and habits of the people.
The itinerary read Italy (for F1 and Rome), Iceland, Germany (Frankfurt and Wetzlar), and finished with meeting my cousins in Paris for a nice end to the trip. Many people have asked me which was my favourite part- something I've found very hard to do. The beautiful countryside of Northern Italy with the sound of roaring F1 cars, the history and architecture of Rome, the natural beauty of Iceland, the utilitarian precision of Germany and the emotion of Paris. How can you chose?!
I can't wait to go back and explore this place of the world once more. But for now I'll just relieve the experience with the photos I took..
Please feel free to have a look through my travel gallery which has a few images from my trip, including some previous travels.
