Saturday night at Dalkeith and Cottesloe

I've been meaning to go to Sculptures by the Sea for a few weeks now, and I finally got to go with my special person on the penultimate day of the exhibition. I'll be honest; it was a bit underwhelming. I wasn't really impressed with the quality of the sculptures, and overall the whole place lacked a bit of atmosphere.

I did get to spend some time taking photos with my new Leica Q, and the trusty Canon 5Ds. I was very impressed with the monochrome shots taken at high ISO with the Leica. Has such an artsy feel. Have a look at the photos below, all which were taken with the Leica.

On another note, I've been planning two photography tours with the Leica Akademie. I'll be heading to Uluru in early June, and Iceland/Germany (possibly with a quick detour to Paris if time permits). I'm very excited for both trips, and to continue seeing new places and experience new cultures- a theme that I've been following for the past few years...
